2010 Dancing with Chicago Celebrities

Jill DeMarlo , Arthur Murray franchisee in the Chicagoland area, decided she would do what she could to help the fight against breast cancer and in 2006, she created "Dancing with Chicago Celebrities". She knew that with the help of her staff she could put together a fabulous dance event. We are proud to announce this year will mark the 5th year of this successful event. The event was designed to bring together people who loved ballroom dancing for a wonderful and sparkling evening and each year it has grown to include more Chicago media, sports and other well-known personalities. And all the proceeds go to fight breast cancer.

While we have made tremendous progress in the fight, there is still so much more to do. At Susan G. Komen for the Cure®, we are working every minute of every day to save every life, and we need your help. And, again in 2010, individuals may register online as “Individual Fundraisers” for a nominal fee and use online tools to help raise a minimum $2,000 and be provided a COMPLIMENTARY TICKET to the event.
