Darryl Traweek
Darryl Traweek raised more than $100,000 for Susan G. Komen the same way he climbed 20,000 feet to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro - one step at a time.

WHAT TO DO WITH CHECKS
Print the Donation Reply Form
and use it to mail in your donations.
Encourage your kids to set up shop outside the house and entice neighbors outside with a refreshing glass of lemonade. It’s a great opportunity to meet new friends and spread the message of breast cancer awareness.
Pink it out by the pool and stay cool this summer. Collect donations at the door and have friends over for pink lemonade to beat the heat with a cool swim.
Challenge your co-workers to an office decorating competition! Make it a daylong event that includes pink treats, breast health education, even a pink costume contest.
What’s a fun way to dress up and spend time with friends? Bingo! Get creative with some unique decorations and hold a pink bingo party in your community.
One of the easiest ways to get your school involved is to pink out an athletic event! Just like the Shawnee High School Women’s Lacrosse team, who turned one of their games into a friendly fundraising competition. With the help of their fans, they raised over $2000 for the cure (and to make the night an even bigger victory, they won their game 12-7!)
Whether your event is at a school or workplace, encourage people to bake pink cookies, cupcakes and pies. Everything can be offered for donations to Susan G. KomenŽ to fight breast cancer. You can also have a contest and let people vote for their favorite pink dessert.
Make the most of the winter weather with a Pink Snowlady Challenge! Transform a snowy construction with pink floral paint and challenge your community, your colleagues, your friends, family and neighbors to raise funds before the snowlady melts! The pictured snowlady lasted a week before she melted and helped raise over $10,000.
Change things up at your office and talk to your HR department about having a casual pink Friday (or any day). Encourage coworkers to wear pink in exchange for a donation, and don’t forget the pink cookies in the break room. These spirited pink workers from Champion Self Storage went all out in honor of their fellow breast cancer survivor coworkers!
